The Cornucopia concept by Marcelo Coelho is a series of machines for digital gastronomy.  The Digital Chocolateir Prototype is a multi-material candy extruder and decorating machine.  It utilizes both liquid and dry materials to create an edible confection.

But the series of prototypes presented by Mr. Coelho go beyond just tasty sweets.  With the Digital Fabricator Concept, Mr. Coelho is pushing for a much more precise control over flavor, texture, and even nutritional metrics than what we can currently produce in our own homes.  Through a software interface, we will one day be able to bring ingredients together while at the same time monitoring precise calorie counts and other nutritional values.  This has great implications for people with particular diets or health related nutritional necessities.
